Loesdau “Telescopic Whip with Golf Handle”

What the testers like: The length is great for dashing in long lines: the range winner. Since the whip swings slightly toward the edge, you can strike the horse with a slight hand motion. The stroke is flexible and does not get knotted easily.

Loesdau “Telescopic Whip with Golf Grip”: The hook the whip was attached to rocks, but most testers don’t mind.

What bothers? Testers felt that the grip was too thick. After just a few minutes, the long, 300-gram whip becomes heavy in your hand. The stroke also brings additional weight due to its length. It is difficult to lead him to a certain point.

Loesdau “Telescopic Whip with Golf Grip”: Sabine Ellinger must prop up the heavy whip with her forearm.

Conclusion: Very long but heavy whip. So it is not necessarily suitable for riders who rush several horses per day.

Fleck “Eco Carbon”, Model 05674: Loose from the waist: Carrying this whip is not hard at all.

What bothers? Testers wished the whip was a little longer. In order to stimulate more active horses or rush into a larger circle, testers must run along.

Döbert “telescopic lung whip” (CAVALLO recommendation)

What the testers like: This whip is pushed together for a very short time and can be stored easily. Upon withdrawal, the time is long enough for the testers to rush comfortably. The solid, stable silicone shock has one advantage: testers don’t have to untie the knots afterwards.

Döbert “Telescopic Lung Whip” (Cavallo Recommendation): No knots here! The thicker silicone drill will not tangle, even when swinging it vigorously in the air.

What bothers? Since the blow is very heavy, it flies into the air with force, but it cannot be directed accurately. Testers felt a slight tremor in their hands. It’s like swinging a bungee cord. Testers did not find that hanging the drill on a leather strap is stable enough. Although this whip is the lightest model in our test, it feels heavier when pulled than the short “Tunisia” Horzi, which weighs more, due to the longer lever.

Döbert “Telescopic Impulse Whip” (CAVALLO Recommendation): The whip is attached to a knotted leather strap. Is this good?

Conclusion: Very light and compact when pushed together to save space. The length is just enough for a comfortable lunge. The strong silicone effect may make an impression on the most active horses.

Horez “Tunisia”

What the testers like: This whip feels very light in the hand and cannot be felt. The blow can be moved well and quickly and held tightly to the whip stick with a small pole. The handle fits well in the hand and does not slip.

Hors “Tunisia”: This ultra-light model feels like a feather in your hand.

What bothers? Because not only the lash, but also the lash is very short, people are really at a faster pace. If you want to rush in long lines, you can’t comfortably stand in the middle, but run fast.

Conclusion: A particularly light and useful whip, which is very short including the whip. Ideal for example for Equikinetic or children.

Horses “Tunisia”: The pivot connecting the whip allows the whip to swing without rattling.

Fleck “Carbon Composite”, Model 05035 (CAVALLO Recommendation)

What the testers like: Despite its length, the flagellum is light and delicate. A person can easily reach a horse. Suspension of the blow makes a good impression: the sling looks stable and sturdy. Even small movements of the wrist or forearm are well transmitted by the slightly swinging whip. The punch easily flies through the air and can be directed.

Lisa Radlin

Fleck “Carbon Composite,” Model 05035 (CAVALLO Recommendation): Although this whip was one of the tallest models in our testing, our testers found it easy to carry due to its light weight.

What bothers? The bat is made of lightweight, soft and flexible nylon material. Lightly and gently reaches the horse. In order to allow it to beat in the air more vigorously, it must be more solid and stable.

Conclusion: Great whip for a relaxed lunge, even in big liners. For horses that respond well to driving aids.
