Gloomins NFT: Want to know how a startup works?

In Part One, we told you who the masterminds behind Gloomin’s NFT are and what the ambitions of the project are. Today we offer an exclusive insight into the inner workings of a startup!

“We are making great strides. Indeed, even in an international environment. There are options for some partnerships, as well as with NFT projects.”

David, co-founder of Gloomins, is surprised with great news: The project is working perfectly. As the community continues to grow on Discord, Twitter and Instagram, there are already first international requests for collaboration. David also has a lot to report on DAO. Before that, we want to show you what day-to-day work looks like at a startup.

“This NFT project can actually be considered a startup in its own right,” said David. Like many of the new founders, he also works full time for a company alongside the project. So most of the planning is done on the weekend, because everything has to be in order. And it’s not messy. After I prepare his work in the weekend, there are still spontaneous tasks on weekdays. For example interview with us, answers to inquiries or partner posts.

Although David and his co-founder agreed on the principles at the start of the project, adjustments will have to be made over time. But he says getting started with the foundation is still very important. Questions about general orientation or financing should be clarified in advance, or else things will quickly get messy.

Questions like:

  • How do we achieve a higher level of interaction with the community?
  • How do we share the work?
  • What posts to upload on social media?

They are predetermined and must be continuously validated.

“However, there are sometimes days when nothing works anymore. Then you leave it and continue the next day. That’s how it is.”

We understand you, David – sometimes we feel the same way.

Web 3.0 collaboration is on the rise – Gloomins Strengthen Partnerships

In the past few weeks, Gloomins.io has seen a rapid increase in views. Likewise, the number of followers on Twitter and Instagram increased in a few days. David is very pleased with the high reaction rate. He says cheerfully:A music company contacted us for cooperation. We are currently evaluating what the partnership could look like. I’m sure the Gloomins family needed some really dark music to embody their dark nature.”

“We have an inquiry from a bar in Texas, USA. They just thought Gloomins was great and now they want to work with us.”

However, it is important that Gloomins learn from other projects. When communities come together and gather their knowledge, all partners can benefit.

“Whoever does more in our community will be rewarded accordingly. Our community should truly be the core of our project.”

According to David, the community should also know that the founders are always there for the project. As a person, he stands behind the project with his full real name and does not hide behind nicknames. But please do not spam, otherwise we will be responsible for it……

Gloomins plans a new DAO concept

Since it is unfortunately still very difficult to find a suitable legal form of DAO in Germany, Gloomins came up with a new approach. In the first step, Gloomins NFT will donate to the community wallet. After that, all users who own NFT will have the opportunity to vote. In the future, all decisions related to the project will be made by the community in the multisig process. Multisig means the process of managing a portfolio with multiple people. For example, to make a transaction, the consent of a certain majority of users is required.

“Only in this way can we achieve the highest level of decentralization for our NFT project and ensure that the community has decision-making power.”

This method is also the most optimal method from a legal point of view. Unfortunately, there is no way in Germany and most other countries in the world to register a DAO as a legal form. Forms remain only for projects, such as an association or LLC. Even the legal forms that already exist. This again does not correspond to the meaning of DAO. This should in fact be independent of factors such as where the members (the association) reside.

“Establishing a DAO legally in Europe is very complicated. I hope there will be solutions in the future.”

Of course we hope so too! This step would help many DAOs in terms of development. We wish David and his team all the best to Gloomins. You can hunt down Gloomins on Twitter, Discord, TikTok or Telegram using the links below:
