Johanniter Regionalverband Südbrandenburg announced:
On May 20, the trio around double bassist Jasper Leboda in Berlin will give a concert at the Evangelische Kirche Burg for the children’s home Johanniter “Pusteblume”. For the free accommodation of the parents and brothers of sick children, the house is permanently dependent on donations, since these expenses are not covered by the cost-bearers.
When a child becomes seriously ill, not only does his life change radically. The entire family world is separated: what next? How long will our baby, sister and grandson stay with us?
There are also financial concerns: a parent often gives up their job and devote themselves primarily to caring for a sick child, and you have to fight with payers to get approved for aid or special forms of treatment. The family structure, which is already fragile in such a situation, is also at stake.
Since May 2020, seriously ill children and their families have found support and relief at the “Pusteblume” children’s home of Johanniter in Burg (Spreewald). The Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e. V. A facility operated in Spreewald providing space for up to twelve patients in the Children and Youth Shelter and eight other spaces in the residential outpatient group. In both areas, the emphasis is placed on holistic work in the family system.
“Arrive, recharge your batteries and let go – that’s what we’re here for,” explains Daniela Konzac, the company’s only president to date.
A fixed installation of this type in the state of Brandenburg. “We want to give the whole family new strength in their daily lives and thus focus our work on patients, parents and siblings alike.” This work is only possible with the support of donations. Unfortunately, not all expenses are covered by the fee payers.
The free stay of parents and siblings in our house is funded entirely from donations so that families in this difficult situation do not have to bear financial burdens.”

Double bassist Jasper Lebuda’s compositions are classic soundtracks, music stories without words, a declaration of love for a melody and the deep feelings it can evoke. Using a custom-made double five-string jasper with a high C string, Jaspar Libuda creates tones reminiscent of cello, percussion, guitar and lute. Together with guitarist Florian Sigelk and drummer Sven Tapir, he layered and layered rhythms on top of each other. Weave melodies and silence in a dense world of sounds. At the same time sad and full of vitality. A state of limbo between patterns and genres. Cross the boundaries between simple classical music, jazz, pop and vocal. A mixture of talented instrumental art and electro-acoustic music. soundtrack to fantasy
