Daniela Mosgler, Editor-in-Chief of Children’s Films, Series and Children: “Two of our productions are celebrating their premiere at Golden Spatz – what an honor and a privilege! After all, children’s films are of particular interest to MDR, as they provide a great opportunity for teenagers to get to know them. We are very pleased with the opportunity to present our films in Thuringia and we thank the teams that are there In front of and behind the camera on their commitment!
Anki Lindemann, Editor-in-Chief on Children and Family: Both “Alphonse Zitterback” and “Zitternen” – a fictional story written by Ludwig Beckstein, are both based on historical sources. In both cases we sought a contemporary and modern translation without abandoning the historical background. The Golden Sparrow nomination shows that we are right in this claim. I’m really looking forward to the premieres and audience first impressions! ”
“Alphonse Zetterback – Finally a class ride!” Shows how global issues work across generations. The East German-influenced story is carried to this day with a lot of humor and has always been linked to themes from all young people’s lives: love, friendship, who am I and who do I want to be? The opening film was produced at the Goldener Spatz Children’s Film Festival with the participation of MDR (Federführer). The film was shot last year in Saxony-Anhalt and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with a troupe of stars (Alexandra Maria Lara, Sam Riley, Thorsten Merten, Louis Voorbach, Anna Thallbach, Gojko Mitich and others). On May 29 at 4.30 pm the film for children and young people will open the Goldener Spatz Festival in Gera.

He accidentally mixed bags – just now, when he wanted to prove to his new colleague Leonie what a great guy he is. To the surprise of his best friends Penny and Emilia, Alphonse has a savings idea: he’s running for election as the class representative. “little bitch” It was considered a fairy tale Ludwig Beckstein deliberately ignored the tendency to create a current version of a historical context: in a faraway time, sisters Alma and Christine live in their small house on the outskirts of a village and take care of themselves. While the beautiful Kristen is self-confident and leaps forward in life, her sister Alma is quite shy and buries herself in her wonderful hobby, painting. Christine predicts a great future for her sister Alma and has already been appointed to the court of Prince Philip as ordained for his botanical calendar. A love story unfolds, in which the evil baroness and her daughter Erm play a crucial role, Kristen nearly dies and a nymph and little puppy Zitterinchen get involved.
“Zitterinchen” is Kinderfilm GmbH’s production of the ARD series “Six in One” based on the fairy tale of the same name by Ludwig Bechstein. MDR is responsible for editing.
