The Net Donation Initiative supports the Bundesverband Herzkranke Kinder eV

Maxhütte-Haidhof, June 2022 – For the first time, through a donation initiative, Netto Marken-Discount makes it possible to simultaneously support 20 national aid organizations in Germany for 13 weeks: the Federal Society of Cardiac Patients has about 240 Netto branches in parts of North Rhine – Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate Kinder eV as donating partner at the center of the campaign. Thus, the food retailer is giving its customers the opportunity to participate at checkout or at the deposit machine from June 7 to September 3, 2022 for the Bundesverband Herzkranke Kinder eV.

This is how it works:Simply round the purchase value at checkout to the nearest 10 cents and donate the value of the deposit upon returning beverage bottles and cans if you wish. With these customer donations, various sustainability partners are supported throughout the year depending on the period.

Donation partners: About every 100 babies are born with a heart defect, which is about 7,500 babies a year. These kids have a lifelong journey ahead of them. Parents and siblings follow this path. Full of energy, courage and imagination, parents support their children with heart disease so that they can live as good and carefree a life as possible. The Federal Association of Children with Heart Disease helps them with this. The association is an association of about 3,000 families in many parental associations or regional groups nationwide. It cares for people of all ages living with congenital heart disease.

“With our donation initiative, we want to make it easier for our customers to work together in solidarity: through cash donations and deposit donations, we support the electronic non-profit Bundesverband Herzkranke Kinder in more than 240 Netto branches in parts of North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate for 13 weeks. Our goal is to help children, young people, and especially critically ill people in challenging life situations through this and other 19 donation partners.”Netto’s Head of Communications, Cristina Stiliano, says at the national fundraiser.

National assistance: From June 7 to September 3, 2022, Netto Marken-Discount supports one of 20 different charities or charities with customer donations per sales territory.
