Summer vacation is around the corner. In due course, the city of Bottrop has published a calendar of events for children and young adults on its website. This provides an overview of the city’s summer vacation offerings and activities for children and youth facilities that are open and updated frequently.

Begins on the last day of school before summer vacation (Friday, June 24) with the party outside school At the adventure playground, Am Abenteuerspielplatz 1, from 1 pm to 5 pm. For all kids aged 6-14 there’s music, karaoke, dance, glitter tattoos and a sponge-throwing competition, plus grilled sausages, popcorn, donuts and ice cream. Submission is free.

Pupils, apprentices and students who want to learn to type faster on a computer keyboard can do so at Touch writing course VHS Bottrop in four days (27.6., 29.6., 4.7., 6.7.) to learn. The cost of participation is 59 euros – in addition to the twelve teaching modules, this also includes the textbook “Touchwriting – perfect writing in a few hours” from Tastschreib-Verlag.
