Magical Animal School 2

Munich (ots) –

Not an ordinary penguin, but an Antarctic king! Joe’s magical animal, the Penguin Gauri, is completely convinced of himself and shows Joe with his rap and dance routine how he can make an impression.

The Magical Adventure Continues: Following the insane success of the film adaptation of Margit Auer’s bestselling children’s book series with book illustrations by Nina Dolek Die School Der Magic Animator with more than 1.7 million movie viewers, the sequel will premiere on the big screen on September 29, 2022. ! For the 250th anniversary of the Winterstein School, Miss Kornfield’s class is planning a musical show. But many challenges have put class cohesion to the test. With the help of magical animals, children learn what really matters: teamwork.

Winterstein School celebrates the school’s 250th anniversary. For this purpose, the class of Miss Cornfield (Nadja Uhl) is supposed to rehearse a musical about the founder of the school. For director Ida (Emilia Meyer), even acting is a challenge, as Oberzike Helene (Emilia Pieske) simply takes on the lead role. The real singing talent is the shy Anna Lina (Lilith Jonah), who would never dare step into the spotlight! Instead, she does everything so as not to jeopardize her friendship with Helen. Only through her magical animal, the chameleon Caspar (voice of Rick Cavanian), can she jump over her shadow. Whether Anna-Lena wants it or not: she has to compete with Helen! Ida is also at great odds with Helen and this has to do not only with the play, but also with Joe (Loris Sicherovsky), whom Helen is trying to win over with all sorts of tricks. Joe’s magical animal, the daring penguin Gorey (voice of Axel Stein), throws the trio into complete chaos with his “support”. When their school anniversary is finally coming to an end due to strange holes appearing in the schoolyard, the kids and their animals finally have to learn what’s important in a magical community: teamwork!

Following the huge success of THE SCHOOL OF MAGIC ANIMALS, which became the most successful German film of 2021/22 with over 1.7 million views, the sequel will now be shown on the big screen. The new cinematic adventure based on the beloved children’s and youth book series of the same name, which has sold 8 million copies in Germany alone, is based on the remarkable stories of Margit Orr with book illustrations by Nina Dolick, translated into 26 languages, and directed by Sven Unterwaldt. Emilia Mayer, Loris Sicherovsky and Leonard Conrads once again take the lead, with Lilith Jonah (four magical sisters) and Emilia Pesci supporting them. The notable adult band once again includes Nadia Ul (TIMM THALER OR THE SELLING Laughter), Milan Peschel (JIM KNOPF, LUKAS THE LOCOMOTIVE DRIVER), Justus von Dohnányi (The PUBBERTIER) and Heiko Pinkowski (The Most Beautiful Girl in the World). In addition to the dubbing voices of Max von der Groeben (LINDENBERG! MACH YOUR DING), Katharina Thalbach (HANNI & NANNI: MORE ALS BEST FRIENDS) and Sophie Rois (BURG SCHRECKENSTEIN), known from the first part, the new magical animals will be performed by Rick CAVANIAN (DRACHENREITER) and Axel Stein (“JGA: JASMIN. GINA. ANNA.”) brought to life. Sasha sings the main song.
